Do I need to install any software?
No. It runs in the browser, with nothing to download or install.
What can I do without paying?
14 of the 26 tools, with no account: lines, rectangles, circles, triangles and curves, the four supports, and point loads — plus grid and object snapping, ortho, undo, grouping and rotation. Nothing is saved when you close the tab. Exporting, cloud projects and templates are part of a Membership.
Can I use it for drawings that are not free body diagrams?
Yes. Ortho mode, grid and object snapping, dimensions, text and SVG export cover a quick 2D sketch — a layout, a section, a detail you want to hand someone — without opening a CAD package. It is a sketching tool rather than a drafting one: you draw against the grid and snaps rather than typing coordinates, and dimension text is written by you rather than measured from the geometry.
Can I analyse a structure, not just draw it?
Yes. Structural analysis is a second tool on the same site: draw a beam, a truss or a plane frame, put loads and load combinations on it, and read the reactions, the axial, shear and bending moment diagrams, the deflected shape and a report you can print. It is solved by the direct stiffness method — two dimensions, linear elastic, small displacements, no buckling and no code check.
Who can use the structural analysis tool?
Anyone with an account. It is in beta and free to use while the testing lasts, and that covers every part of it: drawing, analysing, all the diagrams and the report you can print. The browser remembers the model you are working on. The one part that is not free is keeping models in your account — File > Open, Save and Save as — which is what lets you keep more than one and open them again from another machine. Unlike the drawing editor, it does need you to be signed in.
Can I cancel my Membership at any time?
Yes. Click your email address at the top right and select "Manage Subscription". That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can change or cancel it.
Can I get a refund?
No — all sales are final and non-refundable. Cancelling stops future billing. The free tools need no account and no card, so you can try the editor before deciding.
What happens if my Membership expires?
Nothing is deleted. Saved projects can still be opened and read, templates you saved can still be placed on the canvas, and saved analysis models can still be opened and read. Saving changes, creating projects, renaming and deleting are paused until it is renewed, and the Membership tools go back to being locked.
How does the cloud save work?
With a Membership, click "Save" in the editor and the diagram is stored on our servers; sign in on any computer to open it again. You can keep up to 20 projects, and up to 100 custom templates. The structural analysis tool works the same way — File > Open, Save and Save as are against your account — with room for up to 100 models.
Are my payments secure?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored on our servers.
Can I use the tool on my iPad or smartphone?
Not yet. The editor is built for a mouse and keyboard on a desktop or laptop. Phones and tablets are not supported.
Can I share my cloud projects with others?
Not directly — cloud projects are private to your account. You can export a diagram as a PNG or SVG and share that.
Can I switch from Monthly to Yearly billing later?
Yes. Click your email at the top right, select "Manage Subscription" to open the Stripe portal, and switch to Yearly billing to save 33%.
